PCI DSS v4.0 is coming

The PCI DSS is a mature standard that defines requirements for the secure processing of card data of international payment brands.
It has existed in version 3.x since 2013. A fundamental update of the PCI DSS has been planned for 2022. The release of version 4.0 is announced for March 2022 – see our blog entry (https://src-gmbh.de/en/pci-dss-v4-0-is-coming-an-overview/).
New requirements pose great challenges for companies. Even if long transition periods are announced, planning and conversion must begin early.
